back seat

I am going to be baby sitting my 3 year old niece all next week, and the gal still has a car seat thats rather huge. Has anyone gotten any type of car seat to fit in the back seat of their car? my brother does not even think i could fit a newborn car seat in the back. HELP do i have to drive the mini van just cause i cant fit the car seat in there? and there is no way around my niece not sitting in the car seat!

OR ... you could take the seats out, and have the baby seat resting on some foam pads, or something similar. The seats aren't hard to take out, and the seatbelt mounts should all work out the same. It's just an idea...

Well my nieces larger then life car seat did not fit in my car. So y'all know I can fit a little baby one in there but not my 3rd year nieces car seat. anyways so i took the keys to the honda oddsey and it worked just as well, since the mini has the captin seats in the middle. and my dad didnt mind trading me for a bit lol. Why is it that once you start driving a car your start noticing other people that drive the same car? Well i ask cause the same day i started driving the mini i saw an oddsey with a whole body kit on it, and man it was jammin'

thanks y'all
