Back From The Dead

You guys all remember how I got Hydrolock like during december?

Surgery... Took out the old h23a1, replaced it with a JDM H23a1

I'm not familiar with the JDM H23s, is that the blue-top VTEC H23 from the Accord? Glad to see the resurrection is in motion, keep us updated.

Hey,

Good to see you are getting the motor replaced but I think you have your engine codes confused. The JDM prelude never had (AFAIK) an H23. Not to mention if it did it would be an H23A not H23A1.

He's probably talking about an F22b (JDM equivalent to h23). Not as good of an engine, but better than one that doesn't work at all I guess...

Listen ya'll, for the Prelude, no, there wasn't a JDM H23 for the prelude, but there was a DOHC VTEC H23 that fit into an Accord. I'm assuming if places are selling it, it exists.

i3luemrld is correct. F22b valve covers looks exactly like the USDM H23a.

haha, my mistake, it was replaced with a 96 Prelude? Not sure, I have to go in and check it out once more. My sisters boyfriend is giving me the free engine from his lot that he doesn't want. I myself too, are confused.

The H23A VTEC VC looks just like a regular VTEC VC see my catalog here Blue and Red Top H22a Catalog

If the block says H23A1 it's not JDM it's just an H23 out of a local car.

There was no JDM H23 motor in any JDM preludes. ONly the F22B DOHC version 85mm bore.

Then what is this cover off of SRV???, and its not an f22b. The f22b looks just like an h23a regular cover, i took my h23 cover off and put this on i bought it off a person from Ebay and he claimed it cam from an JDM h23
