B4 & after pics - been wrenching on it...

Here's a few before and after shots of my sons 1st car.
1995 SE with 105,800 miles on it.
So far so good - drives real nice.
We bought it for $2200.00 and have a total of $2850.00 in it now.
Most of it was brake parts, fluids, filters ect.
We have many hours in rubbing it out, as the car sat outside for a year - thanks to the previous owner.
Many brackets and bolts were bead blasted and painted.
If you cant tell - I'm a detail freak and hope to rub that off on Tyler - so far - he understands and he has learned a few detail tricks :-)
The only thing left to do is replace the timing belt / tensioners and drain and fill the manual trans fluid - should I get Honda trans fluid or just use Valvoline 10W-40? (we live in Michigan).
Any tips on a timing belt / tensioner package online?
What do you recommend?

Always use honda trans fluid and oem is best for the timing belt and other components. Othen than that it looks good, makes me want to call my dad and say "What the hell man!?".

+1

Cool build. I'm only 17, but I would love to have a car like that to whip around.

Keep up the good work

I'm with skyyskyy here, go OEM.

When i saw the before and after pics on the engine bay i was like That is one detailed job on that bay! Very well done! I bet your son will be more than happy with the lude! And i'll agree with these guys on saying stick with OEM parts, you can't go wrong with OEM when it comes to the timing belt and transmission fluid.

^Yeah that engine bay clean up is insane but it was the wheel well/suspension clean up that made me say 'good lord i am lazy'.
