Automatic Gear Ratios

Its an odd thing to ask and I'm guessing I'm the first as I've done several searches and couldn't pull anything up.

So...whats the gear ratio's of an Automatic Prelude Si??

I'm trying to compare it to a F22 auto trans to see whats gonna go in an accord of mine.

Wow.....you're a genius!!! I'll just do that!!!!

Look....I already have converted over a 97 'Lude to a manual and that was fun but kinda pricey. This is a beater accord....accords don't go fast....they drive daily and get good gas mileage w/o being a freaking civic. I bought the car for 250 bucks w/ a blown engine and got a free good engine.....see where I'm going w/ this?? Cheap is good for a beater. So next time....go whore someone else's thread....please.

i believe that the Si automatic ratios are very similar to the Si manual ratios. Same goes with the S model automatic vs manual.

That'd be nice since it would be shorter than the f22 but not too short like the h22. I just gotta figure out for sure to see if its worth spending a little bit extra money. If it is a noticeable difference I can see spending a couple hundred.....but not close to 1k for the swap.

Umm....the trans is screwed as well...I have to buy a trans...if I can spend 100 bucks more to get a better trans then thats reasonable....again...its not your car....I'm not asking for opinions....I'd like this to not be a h-t thread and after 2 or 3 pages of crap....still nothing worth a damn. I'm not taking anything personal....by reverting to obscenities apparently you care a little too much. Thanks again for participating in a thread you shouldn't be talking in. If anything you're helping me out w/ free bumps.

Now....is there someone w/ a helms that'd be nice and cool enough to look this up real quick? I got mine for the 5g...but that doesn't help me any.

I don't know the exact ratios but if the Si auto ratios are similar to the Si manual ratios, I might consider the F22 tranny instead because whenever I'm cruising on the freeway the revs are very high (~3k @ 60mph, ~4k @ 80mph). If you plan on just using this as a daily beater and want better mileage, I would go with the F22, but for a little more pep then go with the Si.
