Automatic ECU?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/e...item=1852673393

this is exactly what my ECU looks like, tho when i bought it they told me it was a manuel ecu...

notice in the pix where it says J-AT ...does that mean AT for Automatic? can anyone with a h22a confirm this, wether or not theirs says MT or AT? and please state if yours is JDM or USDM

if i start the car up, shouldnt it throw a check engine code?

Thanks

your car should run with an automatic ecu it just wont run well. there was a guy who posted here with a h22 swapped civic and he had an auto ecu and was running crappy track times.

i called the place where i got my ECU today, they said they changed it from AT to MT....when using the ECU in my car I get a CEL code 36, but when using my my old H23a ECU i have zippo codes thrown.

on a sidenote, would it be better to go the smog ref with a h23a ecu or my jdm ecu supposedly mugen chipped.
