I have a 92 lude with a jdm h22a (not sure if that makes a difference)w/auto tranny....when im in 4th gear on the highway and put my foot to the floor it does not down shift....not sure where to start on this any suggestions? I didnt do the swap and this is how i bought the car it runs fine other than that....i can manually downshift to 3rd but it wont on its own.

looks like were the only two ppl in the world with auto trannys lol. i have the same lude as you, you ever change out the tranny fluid?

if your in the 'manual' mode while doing this i dont think it will downshift unless its in regular drive, you guys should reall ditch the auto trannys, i hear they break easy and theyre power robbers.

i appriciate your replys and input...i had the fluid changed and that didnt take care of it but i was under the hood the one day and noticed the TPS connecter was laying against the motor and not plugged in and just like that all my problems were solved ha....the guy before me must have forgot that when he did his swap and maybe the reason he gave me the good deal that he thought he was cheating me with ha sucker.....it was wierd cause the only sign was the tranny not shifting and the TPS was the last thing i thought of
