I noticed lately that my vafc throttle moniter isn't accurate. Like whe nI'm at idle sometimes it will say 0% and other times it will say 4% or 5%. When i give it light gas it stays the same and at about 20% throttle i notice the display jump around and display percentages that are somwhat close to what I'm actually at. The RPM moniter was off...but i re-initialized the unit and it now displays the correct RPM's. Unfortunatly the Throttle moniter is kinda out of wack. Anybody got any suggestions or solutions? Could me ECU be taking a poop?
Did you initialize the throttle also? I think you have to stay in that # of cylinder select screen, and leave the throttle closed for 10seconds, then WOT for another 10 seconds, that initializes it. Or it could be a loose connection. How did you splice the wires in?
your TPS sensor may be acting up....it gets its readings from the throttle position sensor on the throttle body..also check your connection where u spliced into it, my connection came apart on my MAP sensor on my vafc, my car ran like ass until i figured it out..peace
