Apexi SAFC settings???

I have a 92si H23. I had the shop I got it at set it up for me as well. I am just wondering what settings other people are using. I don't want to change anything because I am afraid I will mess my engine up. But I would like to know some other settings to try to see if any difference. Should I be adding more air at higher RPM's or should I be taking air away?

The settings that work best for you car are unique to a certain extent. If you want to get any power from putting in the S-AFC you have to get your car dyno tuned.

^^^ every car is different. I want a S-AFC, but tuning would cost as much as the unit itself.

Isn't the VAFC the same as the SAFC? For the H23, just don't hook up the VTEC wire if you have a VAFC.

Well I have mine at

-1% 1k
0% 2k
0% 3k
+1% 4k
+2% 4.5k
+3% 5k
+3% 5.5k
+3or4% 6k

I really just want to know if +% is better at higher rpm or is -% better? I want to try something but I don't want my motor to die.

if anything you should be pulling back the fuel at higher rpm's to make more power. Our cars run very rich from the factory so pulling off a couple % at the top would be beneficial.

of course nothing is substitute for actual dyno tuning.
