Apexi GT Spec..

Does anyone here have this system installed on their car, or no someone that does?? I am about to make a purchase for a new exhaust, and have always liked the GT spec, but have never actually seen one or heard one on a Prelude before. Anybody have some info about it?? Pictures would be great. Thanks

It's just that's the second time I see you ask for something that nobody seems to have in the last few days

I went ahead and bought it. I am sure that it will look and sound great. I had one on my old Supra and it was one of the best systems I had ever used (other than the HKS Titanium). I am not expecting a nice Supra type of look and sound, but it should still be a good system. All stainless, and N1 syling with a slightly larger can.

Seems nice Why is there a bolt on the tip? Is it for the silencer?

Yeah, the bolt is for the optional silencer. I won't be installing the silencer. Nothing can be louder than the system that is on my car now. So, anything will sound MUCH quieter.

i thought it was only for turbo applications? i havent been on po.com for a while so im not sure if ur running a turbo. but if you are, then that is definatly the best exhaust you can get for a turbo car. its gonna be REALLY loud too, and really deep. if ur not turbo though ur gonna lose some tq because of the huge diameter piping.

Nope, no turbo. Apexi makes one for NA preludes. It has 60mm piping and all stainless. The diameter is exactly the same as most other systems on the market. They aren't too loud either. I had one on my Supra and it wasn't too bad. It won't be any louder than the custom system that's on the car right now, (which is loud as hell )

It is sitting in my shop right now. I haven't had a chance to install it yet, as I am more busy with trying to find a new job. It looks great though. The welds are super, and the overall construction is outstanding. Typical of a good company. I hope to get around to installing it after the holidays. Then I will get some pics and some sound clips as well.
