anyones washer squirters stop workin...

I don't know if this happens to anyone else...but everytime i let my washer fluid run totally dry...i refill the fluid, and it doesn't work at all, no matter how long i sit there and hold down the squirt thing...

until someday down the road...all of a sudden, it will start workin again...

i've done this like 3 times...i'm so stupid...but why the f#@k does this happen?? you think something to do with air in the system??

By letting the fluid run dry in the resovoir, you can burn up the motor. The motor relys on fluid to keep itself cool. Also when there was no fluid, and you add some, the pump will cavitate because it's full of air, then with no fluid to keep it cool, the motor dies. Don't let your your resovoir run dry, and never use water in it. This will cause the motor to corrode.

Now this I did not know. I have been running 100% water in my system, because I didn't like the fact of that bug remover liquid sitting on my paint after using the squirters. Thanks for the heads up.

nah, from waxing the car... when I went over the nozzles once with the wax pad the was built up inside the nozzle, got inside the little little holes, and harneded. I've tried using a needle to get it out, but they're still semi clogged.
