Anyone want to help me out?

Alright guys. I have to get a new front license plate holder because I have gotten a ticket for it. When I smashed my car the body shop never gave me a new one, and I went back to them yesterday, and they told me to screw myself.

I went to Honda later, and they wanted to screw me by charging $40 I'm broke right now, and need this before I go to court.

Anyone want to hook me up? I'll trade something for it, since I know some of you guys don't need it.

PLEASE? Thanks

hahaa....i had the same problem. I got tickets too. I took mine off and left it in my garage with all my other parts. but my parents some how threw it away. So i just went to the junk yard to find one. I had to go all over town but finally found one.

sorry i would give you mine, but i need it.

the body shop told you to screw off? wait a second, they are required to replace all that is damaged, don't be so passive...***** 'em out! Don't pay....worst case scenario zip tie the thing, no law said it has to be in a designated holder.

im sure the body shop has something in the computer about it and it is their responsability. plus telling them that the body shop didnt give you a new one in court might help you get out of some part of the ticket.

Thanks guys.

I'll probably go the zip tie route if I have to.

Problem is that the body shop did the work 2 years ago, right before I moved to North Carolina, where a front plate isn't needed. So I didn't think about it then.

or try junk yard. fatzinger has all hondas and they have preludes...up here in pa. 6105886077 they ship but i dunno about their prices.

good luck

same here...mine didn't have the mounting thing on there when I bought it, nor did it have a front plate period. If I get a fix it ticket, I have to get a new set of plates AND figure out some way to put the damn thing on the front bumper...hopefully I don't get a ticket for that crap. Haven't yet and I've had the car for over a year now.

Thanks a lot guys. I am just trying to find a way without spending money, since I won't be getting paid until after my court date.
