Anyone try modify typeS strut bar to fit the 4th gen??

As the title says...this bar looks really strong...better then the neuspeed i think...this is the only other bar i would buy besides the neuspeed if it can be made to fit our car! I guess you could just drill some holes, couldn't you?

To me that doesnt look any beefier than a neuspeed bar. I guess it might be a cool to have something different. I don't think it would be close enought on fitting to just drill holes. I think you would have to weld on metal and change the bracket which would weaken the bar.

I took off my old strut bar, and I just installed a Neuspeed front bar in my car. It is hands down the best looking and best handling bar I have seen and felt. I would recommend them to everyone.

that thing just looks like stamped steel, nothing beefy at all. Looks very similar to the stock GSR bar that does essentialy nothing and usually sells for $30.

i would go with the spoon but i don't like that it has pivot points...the spoon bar might be strong...but how much do ya think pivot flexes??? enough to make me not want to buy it!

The Spoon front is nice and all, and very strong... but it does have pivot points, which are weak links is any chassis strengthening component. It also costs a ton, and they are hard to come by.

I think the Neuspeed is the best designed FSTB out there personally, and could only be improved by adding a mounting point to the firewall for added stiffness.

Agreed. For the price they are impossible to beat and it is what I would reccomend you get.
