Anyone Shave their Washer Squirters? on a 4th Gen??

I'm painting my car and was thinking about shaving the washer fluid squirters off my hood and relocating them near the wipers where the 5th gens have 'em.

Anyone ever done this? I could use some feedback. I'm basically worried about alligning them properly so they clear the wipers and hit the windshield. I dunno if there is enough room for them or whatnot.

Any help is appreciated... thanks.

ive did it to my 92 prelude and i think it looks alot cleaner. i relocated the sprayers on the bottom just like the 5th gen. its a easy install but the sprayers will not spray that straight, but rather then just houlding the button down you click it on and off to get the windshield wet. just take the plastic piece off and put two points on it and drill, the lines will be easly sent under the plastic.

screw shaving, its prolly a bit more expensive (like $100 or so) to get a CF hood

i shaved mine too

and the antenna and the trunk and the door handle seams and a hole buncha **** looks way cleaner imo carbon fiber is for ricers. unless you get one of those 1000 dollar ones that fit perfect. and as for shaving its cheap and all youd have to do is repaint the hood and maybe blend some clear into the fenders.

umm... since I'm in Toronto... knowing what I'm paying isn't gonna do you no good. but if you insist... buddy is charging my $1200 CDN for a straight colour change.... which is dirt cheap and I am praying it will turn out nice... can't afford a "real" paint job... but the change is a must since my car has red with blue pearl on it right now... in some light giving it a nice PINK effect (gotta go)... going for Audi Nimbus Gray Pearl.

I'd like to see pictures if you got.... also.... I notice you live in Cali.... where maybe that little 'mist' spray (by just clicking) is enough.... I got potentially crazy winters to worry about.... so I need some good pressure for de-icing... same with getting that muddy stuff on your window... visibility is important... If I was in Cali... I doubt I'd even ask this question.

I'll probably just leave 'em... I know I'm just asking for trouble.. hehe

I sure as hell hope not. I'm getting mine because my car got hit and I figured that it would be better the the stock hood since it's lighter and dissipates heat better.
