Anyone painted their high beams?

Has anyone painted the reflector housing on the highbeams yellow in a pair of JDM Blackhoused headlights? Or has anyone seen this done and has a picture?

Just curious as to how it will look. I usually like it done on other cars.

I saw some pictures awhile ago when ppl were asking about doing it from a ITR.

You might want to search day time running lights or drl

normally you don't paint the reflectors or bulb....you just buy a yellow bulb...

Yeah I've seen people use yellow bulbs, but i was just curious how it would look with the reflector painted yellow since I've never seen it before on a 4th gen. I can really almost get a visual, haha.

I had thought of that, but I think the painted housing looks cleaner. Anyway someone can photoshop this?

Theres a guy that does some really nice retros, and while this is an early one, several years ago on his brother's prelude, he emailed me pics so I could see it..
Looks good, and his work in INCREDIBLE nowadays.
Go to JWHITE'S LIGHTS - Lighting Retrofitting Services and the guy is as nice as they get too..
On hidplanet.com I met the guy, and people on there swear by him!
Check out his other work too, he's very proffessional, but keep in mind, the prelude is very early in his retro career.

MAIN POINT, he offers the yellow highbeam on all retros with separate low/high.

Yeah, I haven't got the money, but I'll be using Jwhite, and also stop by Home - CustomLightz - The HID Retrofit Specialist for some really bad@$$ shrouds... I love that yellow highs mod, but in the JDM one pieces, the area that we'd have high's, it's actually fogs, so the yellow mod is really a foglight mod.
