Machine, a little OT wandering, but how is the OEM LSD? Does one wheel ever break free or are you getting good, limited slip grip under most, if not all driving? When/If I buy my swap, I'm inclined to go with the Honda LSD installed, because even as nice as Quaife must be, that's a lotta money I don't have.
You'll never seen an OEM Honda H22A LSD tranny for anywhere under $700, and even at that price its a hell of a deal.
4thgen - You can still break a wheel loose, but it is a big difference than from my pegleg H23 tranny. It takes a bit to get it to break though. If I pull out of my neighborhood (left) and nail it and hit VTEC halfway through the turn, it will not break loose. I remember with my pegleg that I could nail it in turns and even with the wheel turned, the car would still go straight. I think its worth the +300 it cost with a swap.
haha, I feel special now as I got mine for a steal (around $400 shipped) in January. He didn't know it was an OEM LSD
Anyways, yes, the open vs. LSD is a world of difference. I am now pulled around corners and have to really try to get it to break loose. Not to mention the nice, parallel tire marks I leave now
yeah, mine cost 1100.00 shipped from Hmotors a few months back. no issues with it. I searched for about a month & a half and couldn't find it cheaper from a reputable place.

thanks for the info Jeremy. Yeah, hands down I notice the drawbacks to an open diff the most when I try to gun it while making a right hand or left hand turn from a stop light/sign.
