Anyone know anything about p28ecu's!!!!!!!

can i use it to run my h22.....its an obd1 ecu so i m good there...but i need to know if it has all the necessary sensors to run my vtec (Usdm h22a1)

P28 ECU's don't support knock or IAB. I believe the only factory ECU that supports both is a P72. You could get around knock by using a J&S Safeguard but the IAB are going to be a problem. Unless you're running a Type-S manifold, the butterflies will not work properly.

the fuel maps are going to different as well, and might make the engine run like poo

yeah the p28 will kill your engine if not used properly. Look on ebay for a p13

I have a usdm obd1 p13 for sale. I run my car on a p28, but it is chipped with an uberdata map and i zip tied my IAB's open lol.

You know you can just remove the butterfly plate and cap off all the vasccum lines and have no problems. All you need to do is find some shorter studs and bolts or use a ****load of washers

True. I assumed that it would be chipped to run a Hondata or Uberdata setup. The P28 was orignally developed for a SOHC VTEC 1.5L IIRC (92-95 Civic Si)
