anyone here have rota slipstreams?

im not into flashy wheels or anything too stand-out-ish-like. i saw the slipstreams and i've always liked them even though they are a copy but for 500 shipped who the f*ck cares? and they still weigh less than these 15x7 steels i have now.

in december they are releasing their 16x7 slipstreams and i think im going to get a set of either the flat black or gunmetal. i have the brittany blue of 1993. what do you guys think? i like gunmetal but dont know how it'll look against my car. although i dont know if its still brittany blue since i haven't seen my car in a year

i think the same time is when they release their penis pink slipstream as well. any takers?

but 16x7s with 225/45 tires should be nice for autox, no? and drag...

Some of the rotas aren't available in all the colors for our 4th gen bolt pattern.

I tried and tried to get gunmetal rota subzeros a while back and found out that they aren't made. Only silver, yuck.

Yea...

...i am getting the 16" black Rota Slipstreams, yea i called rota, and spoke to some dude named Mark, kewl guy, they are coming out with our bolt pattern in black for 4th gen ludes and in 16" you havta call them to order them tho, you can't order them online...
its a special order, yea i agree with you, i am not into flashyness by far, and i've always wanted the Spoon Rims, but for the price of 1 rim i can get the whole set, lol, ya know... and so what if they weigh like 2 lbs more, its basically the same thing, i mean who's gonna know??? and dude i think they would look sweet... on our 4th gens...
i have a black carbon fiber hood, and an APR GT-I wing, and i can't wait for my 16" rota slip streams in black!!
i'll post pix when i get my rims, they come out the last week in December but you can order yours now, and have it shipped to you as soon as they get them.

Cheers,
Jose

I say try and get the gunmetal ones. I think I saw the real spoon ones in black on a civic a few days ago. I felt bad because my friends were making fun of the rims so hard... I wasn't sure if they were rota slipstreams or the spoon ones.

...I'll find out...

...about the availability of gun metal, but in all honesty, i'd think the black ones are sick, just like the Spoons, any JDM fans out there like me, would drool dude... But i'll call up.

Peace,
Jose
