I am looking into turbo next summer.....this is OT though. There are some people with it. There is a guy (Team Interlude) that is just about to put one in.
A guy around here has a Turbo'd H23. His name is TurboNOSlude but I don't remember if he's on this board of Super Honda. He's a cool guy and his car is awesome. He seems to like it alot.

Do you have a 92 Prelude S??? Because I too have a 92 Prelude S, frost white. I already have the H23 block and H22 head, just saving up for the JE pistons and Crower rods and Ferrea valve terrain. Hopefully I'm done before winter comes around, then turbo it before summer of next year, after I break the engine in a bit.
yup.. 92 prelude S... =( but at least when i get the new engine in... insurance won't know .. hehe they will think i have the slow S =)
i was thinking of doing H23 block and H22 head.... not sure how much more $ it would be .... since i'm still saving.. still looking around to see what i should do... right now S engine has 159K
i know turbonoslude had a killer setup a year or two ago until it blew. He was running a h23 turbo with a shot of nitrous. He isnt on this board though.
I'm thinking of going Vtec then turbo but I just have a question. If I were to do that...wouldn't I just end up having to lower the compression for the turbo so my engine wouldn't blow up?
If this is true I guess it would kinda defeat the purpose of adding Vtec to my h23.....?

almost no one wants to waste 1500 on a h22 if they are going to go turbo because a engine with vtec is harder to tune and it wont yeild that much more power.
