I'm guessing it's for this, but I've never seen or heard of it before on a prelude. It's for a 4th gen, and goes in one of those openings where the half-mast antenna switch (JDM) or heated seats switch (CDM) goes (IIRC) in the center console. The listing says that it's a "cool switch that the guy has never seen before."

I'm not sure if there's been a definite answer to this, but it could be there maybe because stations are stronger or closer together in Japan. Other reasons: low clearances, car washes etc. I was watching the Top Gear where they had the NSX Type-R and they said that Honda claimed it was for aerodynamics.

Yeah that's the half-mast switch, but originally I was talking about the sensor switch which I think someone bought already because I can't find it anymore.
