i'm in the process of it right now, in fact I just installed the control arm bushings tonight. You don't need a press to install the new bushings just to remove the old one's. You could put a socket on the outside of the bushings and hit them with a hammer really hard and it might knock them out, but I doubt it. The best thing to do if you want to do it yourself is to remove everything and take them to a shop and have them press the old one's out, shouldn't take more than 30 minutes. If you are going to do this you may want to consider new struts, lowering, camber kits, wheel bearings, and brakes since you already have everything apart. Also if you get the bushings to get all of them you must order the master kit and the rear trainling arm kit, and the sway bar kits don't hurt either. If you have any questions or want to buy the bushings let me know and I'll help you out.

Josh

are the sway bar bushings worth the hassle if you are gonna stick with a stock sway bar?

They aren't much hassle compared to the rest of it. Plus they are pretty reasonable price for a greasable bushing. My bushing were starting to crack so it was easy for me. You also gotta remember it's and 11 year old car with probably more than a 100k miles on it. It's not going to hurt to replace anything on the suspension. Everything I have read on them they really do make a difference, especially if your lowered.
