Anyone done a G23 in a 4th gen

Hey guys,
Just purchased my second 96 prelude SRV. (Canadian Si Vtec)
With my first one did the JDM conversion with some boltons and head work. Was really happy after figurinh out the ecu problems due to the car be OBD2, but with the new one I was thinking K series or the G23.
I was wondering if anyone had put a G23 into a 4th gen and if there were any problems. I found the thread on the G23 but noticed it went into a civic.

Any thoughts or suggestions?

There's plenty of people on honda-tech with G23's in preludes, H/F engines are easier to put in preludes than civics.

K series will work, just cost more than almost a brand new prelude at this point.

The price you pay for a k series engine you could do a g23 turbo and enjoy torque and power. plus i think it would be an easier bolt in than a k. actually ive never seen a k in a lude

haven't really though about forced induction. Everyone i know who has done turbos etc, are in the shop every 5000kms.
I prefer reliability.

either way youll be feeling more torque with the g23 hybrid over the k. plus it would be a much more straight forward ( and much cheaper ) swap. im curious now to see if anyones done a k swap, dont see why though

ya thats what i would think. but now if you already have the VTEC why would you want to do the hybrid without going FI? unless your motor is blown? i can see why you would want the F block to go boost with the whole sleeve situtation but what are the factors in your swap?

I done the jdm h22a swap in my first one.
Mugen header, stag 2 cams, magnus intake, cold air, full exhaust. This ended up costing me three years back about $5000. Also later did a zex kit 75 shot. Without the Nitrous i could not even get 200 WHP.

From the research i have done the G23 will cost the same, give more torque and should i decide in future to go FI i always will have that option.

Also should i want to go FI. What pistons should i use. I know there are a variety that can fit but they also have different compression. Which would be the best ratio for NO or Turbo.
