From what I hear it's pretty straight forward... Just need to get the right projectors for easier fitment... supposedly the audi's are easiest to work with. s2k and the m3 projectors are a little bigger so makes it a little more difficult iirc. And from there it's basically baking the one pieces in the over to get the silicon soft so you can pry it open and go from there... there are many little details I'm leaving out hehe... that's just what I remember in a nutshell off the top of my head. someone can take over for you

I'm in the process as of right now to my set of JDM headlights. I am using TSX projectors, they havn't yet arrive, but I am just prepping the headlights. When you take apart the JDM headlight, you can take off the reflector and it will leave a pretty big hole behind the headlight. I believe you could place a projector behind there and make a projector holder and it will be able to be adjusted. To me, it doesn't look as difficult as it sounds, Honda-tech has a few 4th geners with retro-fits. Try searching around there, I'm sure there was a short write up on how to do this to JDM headlights, I havn't seen any for OEM headlights as of yet.

Audi and M3 are the same projectors aka bosch bi xenon, s2k is stanley-best single-then tsx-second best.

I would recommend an heat gun, just incase you over heat in the oven. Headlights are $
