I bought one. they are worth the $20, but fitment is a little bit of a trick. mine was a slight bit to long, but after an hour and a hammer it fit fit just fine

I agree. Be careful of the rears. Make sure they are half-circled not, a full circle or else. You will have to cut it to make it fit. The front ones should be fine but, try to make sure the length is right. Hammering a sway bar? Shouldn't it be straight?

na i didn't hit the bar just the bracket that slides over the studs on the struts. no damage but it was a pain in the a55.

Yeah a bar is a bar...but I'm gonna say they would most likely not stiffen the car as much. If you want a bar just to say you have one that's fine and dandy, cuz even in name brands there are wide variations in quality, so you may get lucky.

Spoon rocks these be some thick-ass bars!

edit: If you get one...find a buddy with a DC Sports/Neuspeed bar or something and do a back to back comparison...they're pretty easy to swap in and out.

i bought both a front and back bar off of ebay, and they seem to work just fine. oh and the back has a full circle and it fit just fine, why do you need a half circle?

i got the front and the back, since i have vtec the front was very tricky to install and the bar was a little long... i didnt want to mess with it so now i just keep it in my car if ever i need to wack somebody....

IMO, you'll spend about $40.00 for one bar with shipping, that's almost half the price of a decent neuspeed front bar and you know you're getting a one piece more stiffer front bar... that's what i did and i'm loving it...

don't waste your $$$ on this thing, get the best for your car.

I was running a cheapo bar for a while. I liked it alot, but after a couple months I could feel it weakening.

I sold that and got a neuspeed. THe Neuspeed is refound on speed bumps, and the car is more 'solid' with suspension motion. It does not however bolt to the strut (rather to the control arm), and the steering does not feel better (just more solid and bumps and what not).

I bought a used Tanabe FSTB that is sitting in my garage. I suspect it will make the steering a bit more stiff since it ties to the struts (which have more movent then control arms). The Tanabe is identical to the Cheapo bar I used to have, but it seems to be made better/stronger/stiffer.

Once school ends and I have a chance to put it on, I will let you know how it is.
