Anyone?????

Ok, I got a 1993 Prelude Si DOHC....sure you know, but its got the H23A1 in it......Love this car!!!!!! The only bad thing is it burns oil it doesnt really do it the whole time, well its not very noticable if it does, but when I get on it, it does .......... Ive tried the treatment that you put in with the oil and it helped for a little while....but now its starting to do it again so Im here to ask what would be the best thing for me to do and cheapest???? Keep putting the treatments in it and oil??? Or take and go through the whole engine and redo it, or buy one off of JDM or other retailer, haha, OR WHAT??? I know i sound really dumb but I just dont know what to do cause I really dont wanna just sell it and not tell the buyer......SOME ONE HELP!!!!

If your hitting the tec all the time it is goint to burn oil, just part of owning a h22. Do a compression test to see if your rings are fried.

try seafoaming it? I've never done it but always wanted to try. I don't know if thats going to necessarily fix your problem but its worth a shot. and a cheap shot at that.

My 4th gens h23 has over 200k and maybe burns half a quart between changes, if you have no leaks i would say the rings are done.

Seafoam wont stop oil problems it cleans out carbon supposedly to help egr and idle problems. I wouldent put it in my car but others swear by it.

yeah its not leakin as far as i know.....if it is idk where its going cause its not under it after its parked overnight or longer.....and its no anywhere i can see on the engine so im pretty sure the rings are the case....just lookin for the cheapest way....so what would be buy a new engine, or pull the one i got and redo the whole thing?

yeah pulling it would be the easiest way... do a compression test first though. If you have good compression, i'm sure your rings aren't bad.
is it possible to be leaking oil into antifreeze lines? internally? check that out too. There is a website where you send in a oil sample and they will analyze it and will pretty much tell you whats wrong with your car lol. sounds crazy but Ive seen good feedback. Its a sticky in one of these forums somewhere.
