Anybody have a stock Si exhaust lying around? - Honda Prelude Forum

I got ANOTHER exhaust ticket recently, but the cop was pretty cool, despite the ticket. I have somebody who MIGHT be able to hook me up on signing w/o actually doing the mod...but that's a big MIGHT. I've got about 2 weeks to get this settled. Does anybody local to Manhattan Beach/LA Area have their stock, Si exhaust lying around in their possession that I could borrow for a short while? I'm figuring that since my Greddy's been bolted on for over 5 years now that it's not going to be a simple job...i.e, I'll have to break a few bolts, and get some new ones for the sign-off and to replace my Greddy (Hell yes, it's going back on).

Any suggestions?

i only have the muffler section, i didn't pick up the pipe in time and it's trashed

J, seriously, get your exhaust tested... then you can say FU, without really saying it, to the cops for the exhaust ticket.

I thought Greddy's exhausts are 50-state legal???

i got 2 fix-it for my exhaust, one for my N1 and the other for my Gredy SP, the N1 passed the dB test with 93.5, and the Greddy passed it with 95 i think, the test person in fullerton college is really nice

I think the first thing people should do when they get a cat-back is to have it tested... then you get a nice little BAR sticker that says "sorry police, no ticket for this responsible, law-abiding citizen"

as far as i know, you can't test it unless you have a ticket though

you can have it tested without first having a ticket.

JLW got his 5Zigen Fireball tested and has a nice little BAR sticker.

I will in a couple weeks....just ordered an evo 2. But I havent decided if im going to sell it or not. The price will have to be right.

thats the only way you can get it tested.

Were around the Fullerton College area is the test station? Are there others? Is there a site locating them for Cali?

yeah there's a actually a # to call, i forgot, i gotta look into it, there are stations everywhere, but that guy in fullterton college was really nice, so i went to back fullerton college even if i have other closer choices
