Any way to extend the threads on the 4Bidden SS??

I would like to increase the length of threads on the forbidden shortshifter so that my shift knob screws down further on the shifter. Does anyone know how i can do this?

you could probably get dye to cut the threads longer. it would look like this.

there is a write up how to do it on a stock shifter on the ntpg works very well i did that to cut 1.5 inches off my stock shifter im sure it would work on the forbiden
