Any tips (winter setup)

you guys do anything special when winter hits? special oil, plugs...etc.

Anything to make that morning start bit more smoother?
I guess I need to let the car warm up a bit before driving haha.

I really don't hope for a strong winter but it will be nice having remote start. Now if I could just get my rear defrost to work

I am going to put my stockies back on so the salt on the roads won't eat my finish. I use 5W30 oil for the winter. It isn't as heavy so the starts should be a little smoother.

Make sure you have the right type/mix of coolant in your radiator. A lot of shops have a "winterizing" program to help your car out in the more harsh winter areas.

Screw that, I love going 30 mph in the snow, sideways, in an empty parking lot

The only thing special I do is put it on 4 jackstands.

A little offtopic but...how cold does it get in Texas during the winter? For some reason I thought it was warm all year round...
