I've been browsing around the forums and I've been seeing quite a few people buying from hmotorsonline.com. The thing that's nice about this site is the option to add a LSD tranny for an extra $300.
Another site that I've been looking at is sunrisejdmmotors.com.
I don't know, any opinions or recommendations on any other web sites?
I also live in the Seattle area. Are there any good shops that sell and install h22a's? I plan on doing the swap myself, but if a shop does them for pretty cheap, I might do that instead.
I third hmotors, I haven't seen a post from someone (yet) who ultimately wasn't pleased with the overall outcome after buying from them.
While they're kinda pricey (I believe they'll ship an H22 w/LSD for $2700), totaljdm.com probably has the best warranty and customer satisfaction policy, plus they have 2 warehouses in Canada, one close to either coast, and I believe they're opening up another in the States soon. Here's a link to their site: http://www.totaljdm.com
Keep us updated when you end up ordering, it's always good to have another opinion as a swap is probably the largest and most important purchase people will make ... that and I'm looking to buy an H22 soon
I got mine from Noyan USA. Good price, great shipping, no gimmicks. Got my H22A long block with ECU for $1400 shipped www.noyanusa.com

OsakaJDMmotors.com has some competitive pricing. They are advertisers on PO.com, so that would probably have some merit to it. They have a banner ad at the bottom of the main page.

I have heard VERY good feedback on hmotors though from many people. I wouldn't be afraid to order from them based on what others have already said.

http://www.totaljdm.com , they're located in Vancouver, which is what, about 100 miles or so north of you? I believe one of their warehouses is also there.
The guy who owned the car before me had his engine replaced by some national chain - I think they are called Motorwerks. Completely rebuilt engine (old block) and it came with a 3 year warranty.
I got lucky and got a really good motors from oska and i got it at a good price. It was an h22 that ran a 14.3, but i have friends that have ordered from them and got crap. Eu4ik can tell her story, about a rusted to **** motor from osaka that they would not take care of.
if you go with OSAKA, just remember that if you get a rusted motor, you will have to prove to them that it does NOT START- that means you have to install it and be able to proove somehow that the engine does not start. the problem is that the rust will probably not completely keep it from starting, but think for a second what all the rust chunks are going to do to your internals...
also, they are in CANADA which means if they send you a pile of rust, they get to keep your money and you get to keep the pile of rust. if youd like pics of my nightmare i'd be glad to post pics

^^ on that note, totaljdm is also located in Canada, but they'll pay for return shipping on the engine if there needs to be a refund/replacement. But yeah, I believe I was right to say what I did about osaka.
