If you have a H22 you can get the Spoon or Mugen thermostat. Either one should be around $70 - $80.... for the Mugen one, contact King Motorsports (www.kingmotorsports.com) and for the Spoon thermostat, contact InlineFour (www.inlinefour.com).

That's OEM at Majestic. Figure to find one that is 160. That is a colder temp thermostat.

If your planning to get Mugen/Spoon thermostat, i reccomend that you get the switch, that corresponds to the one you bought... so when your racing you can flip the switch and make the coolant come out to make the engine extra cooler, instead of waiting for it to reach a certain temp. and open....

You know that when you buy the Spoon or Mugen thermoswithc it isnt an actual manual switch that you can flip at anytime. It just replaces the stock thermoswitch and switches the fan on at a lower temp.

Huh? You mean radiator fan switch? You can't "wire" a thermostat.

I got mine from a Pep Boys, traced to a '71 International Harvester truck motor... I think it was from the 345ci V8. Anyhow, our thermostat is a 64mm unit, which is pretty much equal to 2 1/2." Just about any 2 1/2" unit will work, but be sure the coolant flow opening is equal to or larger than stock and it has a safety bypass built in.
