Oh yeah. I hear ANY 4 prong relay will work. Is that true? Because I have an extra 4 prong power window relay laying around and am wondering if that will work!

as for the relay, I dunno. Search the 4th gen forum, as well as the FAQ section. It's been covered.

I got my relay from Murrays. It's a 4 prong Pilot relay, I don't know what a pilot is, but it worked fine.

it will connect (I believe) the switch to wires leading to the relay, or the relay to the wiring harness that the switch will connect to, either way, it doesn't matter, you can try to find it on eBay, but the part number is useless, I've checked through Am. Honda, none are available in any parts warehouses. If you really want it to run the cleanest OEM install, keep an eye or two on eBay, I managed to find the entire fog light kit new in box two weeks ago, so you never know.

hmm. I guess I will justhave to get the old helms manuel out and figure out how to rewire it so that everything works. I just want it so that they work with the switch and turn off with the high beams. As long as it looks as oem as posible and work like it i dont care. It doesnt have to be perfect. But I am real anal

No rewiring necessary, the relay will plug right where the sub harness would go. All the sub harness is, is an extension so you can attach the relay in a designated spot under the dash. Nothing more. Super easy you will see.

My generic relay worked as well ... and as stated , all it is is a long plug so you can screw the relay into something so its s tationary, it plugs in snug and can be left hanging so no need for it.
