Any interest in a custom VAFC or RSM housing?

I was looking at my dash today, and wondering if anyone has considered integrating a VAFC, RSM, or similar device into the driver's side tweeter cover. I have seen gauges mounted there, but never anything like a VAFC. Especially with an RSM, it would be easier to monitor the device without looking to far from the road. If anyone is interested, I'll give it a shot. . .

I'd be more than willing to take a stab at it. I'd be doing it more as another little project to add to my resume rather than a way to profit. Does anyone know if the RSM, VAFC, and SAFC all have the same size housings? Does anyone know the dimensions of the units (maybe listed in the manuals somewhere)?

Sorry for digging up old threads, but I'm still interested. red92s, I just received my SAFC and RSM so if you need some dimensions I'd be willing to help you out any way possible. I'm interested in possibly a housing for both or mabye just for the SAFC...I think I'll put the RSM on the steering column

i thought about trying to make some sort of gauge holder type thing but for a vafc and make it in the steering column. recess it in there so it dosnt obstruct the speedo/tach viewing...

Yeah, thats exactly the location I was talking about. I havent driven my car in a few days, so I cant visualize the sight lines. . .do you think that location would give you easy viewing and access to the controls? I have no idea how hard it is to fiddle with Apexi' units settings, and I wouldnt want to put it in a place that made adjustments tedious. I was thinking the RSM would be cool to have right there just so you could keep an eye on speed/RPM on the digital readout.
