I bought a 92 Prelude Si back in early February and have been working on it since. I've had to install and new transmission, axels, cams, lifters, rods, pistons, piston rings, injectors, added some headers, stiffened the suspenion, and have it ready to go to the shop for a dual 3" exhaust upgrade. I have sent the ECU off to have to adjusted for more HP and Torque through my local Jegs, I have purchased and installed brake upgrades for all 4 corners, added a small shift kit to the new trans, and of course repair the infamous "Honda Rust". I've run short on what else has been done other than added a new fuel rail, intake, fuel pump, and requlator but now that I am almost done with the exterior and motor (thinking of going to move up to a big turbo system next summer) I'm ready to move to the interior. A friend of mine had a 96 and don't get me wrongI love my 4th gen lude but the dash board is driving me insane! I'm not fond of the setup at all. So, instead what I thought of doing was searching and finding a 5th gen and taken the dash out and placing it in my 4th gen. I know frankenstien crap but serious I love the car but ready to sale it before I even paint it because of the dash. My question is has anyone on here done this? know anyone who has? or even know if it'll work!. Please don't bash me for this I know it's not the typical thing to do and everyone loves their lude the way it is, except I can't stand the dip that they put in the dash board and I really hate having to look over at the passenger side of the car to check guages.
Any help at all would be greatly appreciated. Thank you ahead of time

It's going to take a ton of work trying to get the 5th gen dash to fit in the 4th gen. If you have the time, money and energy go ahead and try. If your friend has a 96 then he has the same dash you have except for the EL gauges.
I'd love to know how you got 2 headers running on your h23. Do you have a y split from each exhaust port or are you running mini headers so that 2 exhaust ports are one header 1 and the other 2 is another so each header then can then go to each of the dual exhausts? Sounds awesome.
