I have a lot of time to myself lately and was wondering are there any fun little projects I can do on my 92, already took off the resonator couple weeks ago.
When u say "little", do u mean labor wise, or money-wise, or wut?? You can find a 94-96 console and do a console swap (if you like the newer ones) or change ur gauges to EL gauges (if you like these too)...

sorry I meant just things to pass the time and make my car better or look better.
Engine bay, for sure ..
I got a set of OEM fogs I need to get a switch/harnes for (aftermarket cuz oem so rare#*!%)
The fogs I got were rusted so bad so finally the other day I took out the drill bit to put th foglight unit into a new bracket that goes in the bumper ... then I need to re-enforce the CF covers that I have for the fogs because they're a bit too flimsy to get me to beleive they are going to hold up ...
as well, I need to gut me car some to get ready for paint .. oooh yah ..
I've yet to detail the engine bay though .. but do it and give us good tips
thanks for ideas guys I think I will try to detail the engine bay. By the way anything that is free or costs very little money is helpful. One of the reasons I have had extra time lately is I have been unable to find a job but that will hopefully change soon.
Originally posted by prelude styl funny thing is, right after I posted that, I went outside and detailed my engine bay haha. Oh well, now it's nice and pretty!
any tips or products to use? I have some simple green in the closet but i hear good and bad things about it. Also any idea on locating oil leaks? I have a little one I want to find.
Polish your rims if you have the stockies. I took all of mine off and polished em with Mother's Mag and Aluminum polish. It took me about an hour. They were really nice and shiny for a week, now they are covered in the nasty brake dust from my HP+ pads.
Gut your car & chip off the sound tar...YAY for weight reduction.

Yea simple green is a great degreaser, that's actually what I used. People say to cover stuff like the dist, and alt etc, but it's not necessary. It's handy to have some electric parts dryer if you're in a hurry though. Just soak the engine bay with simple green, let it sit a few minuted and hose it off with a nice high pressure nozzle. If you're picky, dry off the electrical parts with the wire dryer, and apply whatever type of armor-all-ish stuff you use, wipe down and take a nice pretty picture Just let it all dry out (like the alternator) before you drive it again though unless you have the wire dryer.
You could make an EGR block plate... or a Fast Idle block plate. Or (if you are OBD-1 and have a timing gun) you could advance your ignition timing a couple of degress for extra power. Thats all the cheap easy stuff I can think of right now.
u could buy clear bumper lights for like $20.. makes the ride look a little sharper... or those thing that go on the valve stems of ur tires, and they glow.... or an APC sticker.... or uhm.... neon lights everywhere.... Oh oh wait, u said "that will make my car look good!" Opps sorry
(thats what everyone around here does to their cars.. hoopties)
