Any 6 speeds that would bolt to h22a1?

I've come to the discovery that pretty much all of the synchros are bad in my 96 VTEC since the cost would only be a bit more for a new tranny I was wondering if there are any 6 speeds that would bolt on to the h22a1 any help would be appreciated

Nope, unless you went custom made which would cost about the same as a used S2000.

One of the LSD transmissions, simply because it would have a limited slip differential.

what would the advantages be over a conventional differential?

Just wondering... how incompatible are 5th gen trans with 4th gen cars? And, as a 4G owner, what all does the ATTS system entail, and is it adaptable?

For OP:
Limited slip uses a series of what are basically clutch plates to transfer power to whichever wheel has more grip. This is done in a passive mechanical manner. ATTS, as seen on the 5th gen is an active system that deliberately sends more power to the outside wheel during a turn.

It's a PITA to install ATTS and I don't recall it ever being done.

Now 4WS has been converted to a non-4WS but not an ATTS system.

Other than that, normal trannsmissions will bolt up.

Thank you for the answer.

Sounds like it would be a fun project just for the sake of learning experience, the challenge, and the write up when done. Doubt I'd do it though.

But it's nice to know the others are doable, as that adds options if one wanted a LSD trans on a 4th gen.

Yes if thats what u want a lsd for. I understand the traction part but not the two wheel burnouts?? If you go with a aftermarket lsd like quaife or one of that sort then make sure you have somebody experienced put it in as it needs special tools to install it

Oh, I plan on going for a proper LSD. I'm just saying it would be a fun challenge for the sake of a challenge, not for practicality.

the two wheel burnouts was just a random statement. with conventional diffs im sure youve noticed doing a burnout and going back only to find one stripe right?
