So my 4th Gen Antenna has been broken for awhile but now it annoys me. My morot works and all cause i can her it but when i turn off radio, the antenna wont go down. I dont know what the problem is but i was thinking of getting new one.

Also, I have a bad sqeeking noise from the back right corner which may be from the antenna box. My friend said it probably is because we checked everything from the suspension area to camber and everything. We lubed eveyrthing up also. Would this be the problem??

if you're sure that your antenna motor is still running, then you need antenna mast, cost around $15 on ebay

Personally, I hate the way a 4th gen lude looks with that huge antenna up. When mine got stuck up, I just forced it down and left it as it is. I still get OK reception, but now I'm thinking of just removing it and shaving the antenna hole.

As for the squeaking noise, I hear that too on the back right, but it sounds like it's coming from the back right (passenger side) speaker area.

That happened to my accord (the antenna). What happened was that part of the motor and mast had came apart...it like rusted apart or something. Honda said that it would be 160 for a new motor antenna. I went with a manual antenna...then that broke, so I went and bought a 1' long black antenna from auto zone that was $8. It got great reception.

I believe what she's talking about is a universal antenna mast. I had that on my car when I first bought it (it came with it) and then I went to a junkyard and found a used one. Anyway, it comes with a rubber mast and a metal base to screw it on. It swivels as well. (At least mine did)
