^^That would be the easiest way. Then you can remove the motor itself and drop a couple lbs. Or you could pull out your H/U and disconnect the power antenna wire.

boy you all like to do work huh?
you dont want the antenna up? simple fix.
have a friend turn on radio. you will be standing beside the antenna as he/she does this. watch in delight as the antenna goes up, for its last time. when fully extended, firmly grasp antenna at base and snap off.
this method allows you to save the hassel of taking apart your dash, and trying to put the trunk puzzle back togather.
a friend once said, turn the volume up louder... that fixes anything wrong with your car. although if you have the volume all the way up, and you can still hear noises you are in trouble.
it would take less than 5 minutes to just get back in the trunk and pull out the right side lining and unplug the motor and put everything back together..
yea see the thing is i am lazy wanted something quick and proper dont really wanna break the antenna off looks like i am going to have to unplug the motor by taking the interior panels off thanks guys
If you were SMART. you wouldn't need to brake off the antenna. you could simply remove the mast, by un-screwing the cap and simply taking out the mast when the radio is on and the antenna goes up.
