Another JDM Headlight install question: positive and negative

Ok, before some of you jump all over me, I searched already, and after exploring possible EVERY way to configure the H1s and H4s lol, I still didn't find the answer:

I'm installing my JDM headlights, and I need to know which wires are negative and which are positive, both from the car's wiring harness and on the headlight plugs (if that side matters at all), here is what I've got:

Car harness:

Highs - Red/Blue and Red/Yellow
Lows - Black and Red/Yellow (I'm assuming black here is neg)

JDM headlights (if it matters)

H4s - Black and Red/Green (I'm once again assuming black is neg)
H1s - Red/Green and Red/Blue

Thanks, Adam.

but which are the negative and which are the positive on the car's high beam harness? I've figured out the lows. I used two crimp connectors (temporary, for the Michigan meet on Saturday) and tested them, the look good, the silverstars are nice and bright too. The corners look like $hit, but I'll replace that bulb when I get a chance.

I thought I would just add to this thread:

My wires matched up exactly. H4 to low, H1 to high...wire for wire. Is it possible that the JDM Preludes and USDM Preludes had different wiring harnesses that matched year per year and I just got lucky with my set?

or the plug-n-play route:

SUV lights

includes 2 relays with direct connection to battery for brighter output...

This is what I did...

I finally found the pair I wanted and bought them this morning.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...0895656&rd=1,1
Ive held off buying for awhile because I was confused with the wiring especially in regards to the relay. But as I understand it now, the relay isnt even required. I will simply cut the stock USDM connectors off and solder the JDM connectors that are comming with the 1-piece JDM's just like almost everyone else.

My question:
With that simple configuration, when I switch from lowbeam to highbeam, it should work exactly the same as the stock configuration? Correct?
Lowbeam -----> H4 (Outer bulb) on
Highbeam -----> H4 & H1 (Outer and Inner bulb) on

$250 plus shipping for a pair in excellent condition and and they even have the little prongs for the corner lights. I dunno seems alright to me.

Oh, I thought you bought them at the $280 price. $80 for shipping, though...I got mine for $135 shipped. They came with all harnesses, the prongs (which I didn't use), and one tab that was cracked.

I still don't get why others are wiring it with a relay...is that simply because they want to wire it safely for the sole purpose of lighting up the second filament in the H4 and using H1 as fogs? Seems like overkill.
