Another idea of mine

One project i've been wanting to do, but don't reallly have the guts is to reupolster my seats myself. I dont know how this would turn out but this is what i would do:

take the seats apart and unstich the whole thingg, learn the patrern copy it and then redo the pattern in vinly.

I've been trying to get a seat to practic on, since i do not want to do this to my seats, and the other thing is i dunno what color i would do either.....

For awhile i was thinking a red/gunmetal scheme but i dont reeally want to paint my enterior.

the other thing i was thinking was just do my seats in red and leave the rest stock....

let me know what you guys thinks, and if you have any other ideas......

I think doing the seats yourself will be pretty hard. But if you can pull it off props to you. I was thinking of doing the same thing but I'd probably just screw it up. I think you'll need an industrial sewing machine because cause of the thickness of the vinyl.

hmz, that's a good point, I went to a fabric store, they have needles that will go through vinyl, but i dunno if my mom's sewing machine can take it, it is pretty old.......... i will have to do more research
