Another fog question

im sorry folks i have searched, and it seems some folks have done it however, not much detail on it. i am wanting to wire my JDM fog light switch



to my 93 USMD harness i have heard something about re wiring the relay and stuff i have asked Zimmlude but he says he is too busy with finals to help. so... please some one tell me how to wire this thing

The switch itself cannot be re-wired .. however, the wire harness plugging into the switch can be wired differently. I think that you should leave the switch/harness well alone and concentrate on the Relay if you want to wire the fogs differently as far as how they turn on. Because you didnt specify, lets assume you want to be able to turn them on when the car is in accessory but headlights off ..

You would feed an accessory power lead to the relay replacing the Red/Yel wires (which is headlight low beam)

Err .. now looking at it more .. I think you would need to ground the switch instead of it going to the dimmer relay ...

I think anyways .. somebody help out?
