Anothe problem regarding my Daytime Running Lights..ARGH!

well... suddenly I ran into a weird problem w/ my daytime running lights now.... when I try to switch my DRL the lights don't come on.... and what's weird is that if I switch my high beams on... my low beam lights come on.... and I did not hook up any wires to my high beam harness... which is weird b/c when I did the DRL mod... that never happend before...

so far I checked my switch wire ( which are connectd and have power w/ a solid ground to it), the fuse (its a 15A fuse and I checked it w/ a test light.. and the fuse is good), the positive wire for the DRL harness (which is wired where positive side on the under the hood fuse box is) is solid, and my grounds are all good from the harness...

the only thing I havn't checked is the relay.... I am curious to know how relay can go bad? the relay that I am using, that came from the fog light wiring kit, is a 30A 12V relay...

I am using a Fog Light Wiring kit... and everything was working fine for a good period of time.. but I dunno what happend now...

can someone please point me in some kind of direction that I should check out....

Thanks in Advance...

PS: I dunno if this may help.. but I recently had some body work done( the Driver's side Door)... to which the body shop took the entire door out... I dunno if that means anything.. but I'm guessing the more information I dish out to you guys.. the more it can help to figuring this out..

now I'm thinking its the relay...

b/c just when I got out of class (930pm)... I tried to see if it worked... and my DRL came on!... now I'm thinking something inside the relay is loose or something...

I'm guessing the weather is playing a role in this.... b/c when I got it working.. it was about 65 degrees... and when I discovered the problem.. it was about 85 degrees... so yea...

Where are the relays mounted? Has it rained? Maybe it got wet and corroded the insides
