angel eyes headlights?

Anyone seen the "angel eyes" headlights for sale for the 4th gen?
I've seen a tutorial on how to mod them, but for a different style headlight... thanks

Can you post a link to that tutorial? Maybe one of us can get it to work on our cars?

THe tutorial is a lot easier because it is fitting the "angel eyes" onto another BMW.

I'm not sure how it would look on a lude, but I don't think it would have quite the same effect since their lights are circle and ours are more of a single bulb with a reflector

projectors

well i'd put em on a set of projector beam headlights.
not jdm, as you said, it probably would look wierd/wouldnt fit.....

or if possible, custom make the halo part so it would look ok on the jdm/usdm lights, but im not that creative so i'll leave that part up to you guys

The JDMs have a defined circular opening...they would look good with that...

But your main problem is this...do you really wanna pry open your jdms? Those Euro M3 lights were easy to take apart...they were just held together with clips. Jdms are sealed...it could get messy

I don't know why he didn't just make his own...I'm going to read it again to see what these things are made of...

looks like its just a plastic ring, BMW uses fiber optic light to light the rings(most expensive way of course), but the guy used 4 LED's placed around the backs of the rings and wired them to the parking lights I assume.....just curious to see if anyone has ever thought of or has done this...

The problem with the aftermarket civic and what not "angel eyes", is that they're obviously LED.

You see each and every space between the LED's, and they look very cheap.

Yeah we know he is skilled at taking apart headlights. I am still waiting to see what he post up next.
