anetnna problems 4th gen

yes.!! hello everyone

i need some help seeeking help!!!!

i am trying to remove my antenna from the car..... the car antenna does not go up n down but i can hear the motor...

now i decided to completely remove it but idk how

ummm


can anyone help me please??
i dnt seem to find a bolt or nothing i removed the plastic use for water protection but i camt fimd mpthing



now my antenna is loose and broken....... help

there is one bolt on the inside of the trunk. you have to remove the trunk liner on the passenger side to get it. also the nut on the outside antenna, number 18-

you can use a flat-head screw driver and a hammer or rubber mallet to remove it. just be careful.

prob just got some worn out/broken teeth on the antenna mast. u can replace it by removing the 'special nut' on top, turning on the radio (so the antenna goes up), pulling up on the mast as the antenna goes up to remove it completely, and feeding in a new mast while turning off the radio, so it grabs the teeth and pulls it in.

pretty easy, i just did mine a few months ago.

Antenna

Well just put new mast in son's 92 lude and it was a bit of a pain.Had to remove whole motor etc. account the old mast was broken off and sleeve was stuck in the mount tube. But once we got it clear it went right in n/p.

i tried to install my new mast and i had this same problem occur...The old mast is broken half ways and stuck inside the motor....Im going to have to take out the motor like you did and extract the broken mast...we will see how it goes...

I got it from local honda dealer account I wanted it fixed now.Also for what I have gotten buy a true honda mast not a cheap one.
