i say it all depends on the ride as well... i notice our 4th gen ludes look the best with them just cause they look so close to the actual altezza lens... but ona stock lude there horrable but on modded ones they look allright to me
Like i said and i'll always say, they look cheap as hell! They look chinsy and plasticky and they look like they are made by fisher price or something. When the lights are illuminated, it looks terrible. CHEAP CHEAP BAD QUALITY Carbon fiber or regular, THEY LOOK BAD.
I agree that it depends on how hooked up your car is and what color. I think they look ok on the red cars. I'm not a big fan of them. I love the carbon fiber ones on black ludes! The new G3 lights look pretty sweet too...
greatones car looks pretty nice w/ the carbon fiber's
i still dont like altezzas though...more played out then my 8 bit nintendo...and i would much rather play my nintendo
Originally posted by Mark94 I still have them on my car, and I quite like them. To me they compliment my red paint better than the stockers so I am sticking with them for now.

Ah man, such a sweet car with altezzas. A shame. They look cheap mark and the rest of your car looks far from that. If i were you, i would take them off and kick them to hell. If you get real IS300 lights and do custom work, then now you're talking because obviously the OEM equipment is light years ahead in terms of looks compared to the crap altezza lights everyone is puttin on their cars. But these companies selling the altezzas can lick my left nut with the quality of how they look and illuminate and what not. NO ONE ELSE SEES HOW FRIGGIN CHEAP THEY LOOK?!? THEY LOOK LIKE SH!!!!!!!!T!!!!!
It's all a matter of personal opinion. If the altezzas are cheap, then so is the idea of converting IS 300 lights into your ride. Tons of people are doing it, just like people putting altezzas on your ride. The newer c/f altezzas, as long as they're made by APC, are actually pretty high in quality. A lot of the hard-line JDM-ers on this board don't like them, but a lot of people out in the public at large like the way they look. It's all up to you & what YOU want.

I totally agree about the lights matching the style of the car. When I got mine, I started noticing how many ludes actually had them, so I tried to make mine different. Hey some people like it and some don't. I like what I've done with what I have and it looks pretty sweet at night! Hey, I'm happy!http://www.hondaprelude.com/setups/images/13159_4.jpg
But yah, I've seen some on stock ludes and man, I think they gotta go!
That's a dope ride! I like the combo of the altezzas w/ the IS 300 inner lights. How much did that cost (the conversion portion)?
