Shop repainted my entire car, replaced a headlamp (OEM), replaced windshield, welded quarters to solve rust as well as corrected minor rust in windshield pillars
painted/installed wings west big mouth kit complete and waiting on 3pc spoiler to arrive tommorow to paint/install
I have a factory spoiler, will the 3pc use the existing wiring?
He's in the process of wet sanding and making the paint ultra nice so what waxes and preparation do you recommend to bring out even more shine? Currently I use Meguire's 3 step system #1,#2,#3 with old tshirts to remove the wax and a huge pack of new standard applicators, but I have a feeling better wax products are out there
Most people will recommend Zaino's wax, I haven't tried it. I personally like Liquid Glass. Leaves it looking damn shiney and the paint looks very deep. I wouldn't wax the car for a few months after fresh paint though.

I'm not exactly sure, I think different places will tell you different times. I was told to not wash it for a week, and then only use water and mild soap. They told me not to wax it for a while. You probably want to ask these questions in the detailing forum, those guys know their stuff.

I work for NAPA and am familiar with NAPA's Martin Senour paints. You can wash the car anytime after delivery. Cause they are getting it we when they buff it and wet sand it. Wait at least 90 days before waxing. Your new paint will not need it any sooner. Plus it's better to be safe than sorry. If you wax to soon you will trap the solevents and they will either cause bubbles in the clear coat or cause it to lift.

I agree on the paint and wax thing. You should wait at least 90 days. I've heard 45, but like j_t_heilbrun stated, better safe than sorry. Was this just a nice present for the Lude or did you get into an accident? I want pics of the finished product!!
