All you 4th geners with a RSR exhaust...

...please tell me about them. Sound quality compared to the thermal R&D(hearing good things about this lately) and fitment wise. Pics or sound clips would be a great thing. I was told that the RSR is barely louder than stock but has an excellent tone and no obnoxious droning and cruising speeds. The only pic i have is this one for the 4th gen VTEC:

hrm... what can you say about the king of 4th gen exhausts... it looks better and sounds better than any other exhaust i've seen/heard. it's not obnoxious like the greddy PE and isn't so loud that it'll drill into your brain. it fits perfectly. the thermal might be quiet as well but i think thermal exhausts look like ass. at idle, you can barely tell it's there. when you gun it, you get a sweet growl. at cruising speeds it's pretty quiet, not even close to droning.

Yea, i love the dual tips and i'm going to miss them. It is starting to get too loud for my liking. I mean, it has always been at the same sound level but recently it's been irritating me. The other day me and bro swapped cars on the way home from work so would could check out our cars to see how they look and sound etc... Well, that finally made me want to get a new and quieter exhaust. It is a little too loud for my liking. And now that this RSR deal came along for so cheap, i think i might have to purchase it. Anyone have any pics of it on their cars from different angles? I would love to see it. Also, how would you guys compare it to the Apexi WS exhaust? And the thermal exhaust doesn't look that bad IMO. Here are a couple of pics:

let me know,

I have heard the thermal to be quite loud. If I were you I would be looking to these exhausts Gills:

-RSR (duh)
-Apexi WS
-Greddy SP
-Tanabe Hyper Medallion

The WS will HANDS DOWN be the quietest. I have the Apexi RS on my Lude...which is the same exhaust as the WS, just got renamed to WS within the last year. It is THE quietest exhaust I or anyone I know has ever heard. Last night this guy that hates loud exhausts said "do you have exhaust?" I said "yeah". He goes "rev your engine let me hear it"...he says "that sounds PERFECT, you can barely hear it". I've also had a girl I know that was standing outside this store as I pulled in say to me "i can't even hear your exhaust"

Yo can't, how would you compare it to the Apexi WS? That's of course if you've ever heard one. Also what about your butt dyno? what is she telling ya?

You know, i did a search on setups on www.hondaprelude.com and there were quite a few that had a RSR but none of them had pics! And if they did, you can barely see the exhaust. I gotta see this thing on a car from multiple angles!! Anyone!! Doesn't thatchmaster(?) have an RSR? The guy who's always rallying with his lude and has the sig that says " RSR exhaust, powerslot rotors, 1/4 mile 15.01" or something or other. I haven't seen him post up on here in a while. I would like to see what he says...

Well, someone did a hit and run on my car this morning, so I am now in the market for a new exhaust. I am gonna miss my nice dual tip custom exhaust.

The RSR is an option, as well as the Apex, but I really want one that looks similar to stock. I'm sad

well, I got the Stainless wit hthe 70 Degree tip. And jon, I have an AEM CAI you retard. So it's my 3nd mod. Anyway, my butt dyno is pretty inaccurate, because yesterday it was warmer than it has been in a while, so my car felt sluggish all day...but last night, it DID feel like it had some more top end oomph. And for those of you who want one, good luck finding one. there's a thread on h - a .net where a guy (alan from alternative motorsports Thanks man!) has a few for sale. If you want one, you'd better jump on it. You CAN'T find them new.

You want to know something really F-ed up? On the 4th gen VTEC models you can't get the 70 degree tip on the stainless steel version. Only on the S and SI and every other honda/acura but a 4th gen VTEC. Instead it's 90 degree which is a straight cut(duh!). I love the way the 70 degree one looks, but i want stainless steel. If you look at the picture i posted of the 4th gen VTEC RS*R you can see that it's 90 degree. (Yes that pic is the RSR for the 4th gen VTEC). Sh!t, what the hell shall i do? Should i just get the stainless and not worry about it?? I would like a polished can. hrrmmmmm....

Jordan4ws: www.h o n d a - a c u r a.net (minus the spaces obviously) The thread is on the USA 4 sale forum. I think he has some left for the prelude.
