Yup, sure are... it sucks. Mine are already cracked on one of the sides.... They sure as hell look better than the USDMS, though...

Slick's right, everyone else got the glass, two-piece option.

I'll stick with glass. Plastic looks really bad after a few years. It can get all foggy and yellow looking.

uh oh, I better trade in my jdms for some beauty usdm spec lights. j/k

I think that plastic jdms can look very good even after a few years. Mine aren't foggy at all and they haven't turned yellow yet and I'm guessing they are close to 10 yrs old.

Maybe it depends on where you live. It is very dusty here and all the older plastic lenses I see look pretty bad. I think the highways out here just eat them up. The JDM ones do look better although I think the USDMs look nice also.

No, that's probably just a convenient box unless they are referring to the light bulb.

They are not glass, they probably use the same boxes worldwide if that is what's concerning you.

I have a solution

I have the 3M stoneguard clear film on top of my JDMs. Had them on for a year now with no color fade or change. But most importantly, no chips or scratches to the JDMs.

You can usually find a kit that covers the headlights, the four bumper lense for about $40. The only problem with premade kits is they're designed by USDM headlights, so the headlight piece comes in two pieces (headlight & corners) and of course, the niple cutout that only the USDM headlight has.

The ones I have were custom made

Check out the pics

If you look carefully in the pic, there's a faint line that appears around the border of the JDMs. Small price to pay to avoid chips and scratches.

Also note in the pictures, the 3M stoneguard is covering the front hood, bumper, front lip, and vents (next to the JDMs) Both my car and my brother's Integra had the 3M done.

This too is happening to one of my JDM's, GRRRRRRRRRRRR!!! Regardless, I still love them compared to the gawdy 2-piece pieces of sh!t we get stateside.

So can glass. I see a lot of cars with glass headlights that are really yellow and foggy.
