I like it, plus that's what air conditioning is for. How did you do the painting? Was it hard to get the plastic parts out? Looks great.

taking everything off was easy...putting everything back in was the fun part...if you do this have some touch up paint left over because it WILL scratch some off going back in...i used Dupli Color vinyl and fabric paint VS 1 Black...it went on in about 2-3 coats but i used 5-6 just to make sure i didnt miss any spots

I've always disliked how the front half of the roof is grey instead of totally black. Great job.

its a spray can...i got mine at Autobarn but i think any of those type of stores sell them (pep boys, autozone, etc...) i think they are 3-5 each...i put a lot of coats on so it took me about 4 cans but you could get away with 3...touching up is hard because i had to spray on a paper plate and take a paint brush and touch up all the spots that got scratched...wastes a lot of paint but gets the job done

took some more pics...keep in mind i dremeled my dash yesterday so there is a lot of dust on some of the parts that make it look like they are gray...after cleaned parts are 100% black with no chips or fades

it took me about 30 mins to take everything off...the hardest part was getting the sunroof cover off...everything just snaps off with a little tugging...after i got everything off i degreased everything and then sprayed everything piece by piece which took about 1 hour to apply 4 coats (paint dries really fast)...i left the paint cure for about 24 hours and then i installed everything back in...that took about 1 hour (headliner took 30 mins alone)...after that i touched up all the scratches and left windows open to air out STINK of paint from the car...about 1 day project but it was def worth all the scraches and brusises i got from it

one thing you need to know is that if you don't want the paint to crack from the heat/cold seasonal changes, you should get a clear engine primer and spray over the painted pieces after they've dried. this stuff is good up to like 500 degrees or something crazy like that... plus the clear coat adds a glossy wet look. But i have a question... where can you get this dupli color fabric paint from? i haven't seen anything like it and i want to spray my seats a silver color.
