Air Intake Suggestions

Hi I bought an AEM intake for my 95 Prelude SE and I was wondering, which air filter can I use that would fit on the AEM pipe that is better than the aem filter that came with it? Please let me know some suggestions. Like would a hks filter fit on the pipe and is that a good filter? Any other filters out there better than the aem?

You'll see zero dyno improvement from changing up filters. Just use the AEM filter.

okay. I got one other question. there were two hoses leading to the stock pipe and the aem pipe only had one. I had the breather hose hooked up to the aem pipe, but what should i do with the other hose? should i plug it or just leave it unplugged?

My memory is a bit rusty, but I think one goes back to the pcv valve while the other goes to the butterfly in the stock airbox. Obviously, you're removing the stock airbox, so you won't have any use for that hose. And, as far as the other goes, you can put it back or not. I didn't.

Yeah that's what I did. On the instructions they told me to put a foam filter in it so that's what I'll end up doing. Thanks.
