air fuel guage help

okay I know that you have to hook up the violet wire from the guage, to the white wire. The problem is theres like four white wires. Can anybody narrow it down for me, what connecter is it on, you know how there is three main plugs, which plug is it on? Anybody have pics?

Thet's the only plug where there isn't any white wires. ha ha Man this is the last thing I have to do, and it's taking me like a hour so far. aaaaahhhhhhhhhh. the only two connectors are the bottom one and the middle one, that have one solid white wire a piece.

haha,

it's on the other side then. Just try both wires. It will only work one way. If you hook it into the other white wire it will read all full or nothing on the gauge. It's been awhile since I did that install. I remember getting the wrong wire too. I just went to the other one. I probably have it backwards.

Yeah I got it, thanks man, I just didn't want to fry something you know, hook it up and everything starts smoking. ha ha I hooked it up wrong got nothing on the guage and switched it around and it reads now.
One more question, does it just go squirly all the time, unless your giving it some serious throttle?? It bounces back and fourth real bad, and then when I step on it, it steadies out. Is this normal?
thanks for your help again.
