For some reason I was inclined to open my hood today and just look around. To my dismay I saw a small bubbling coming from the top of my radiator. There was also a collection of coolant around the area, as you can see in the picture. My resiviour was empty so I'm not sure how long this has been going on. How do I fix this? It's so small you can't even see the hole in the pics, but it's on plastic so I don't think JB weld or anything like that would work. Any thoughts?
I have a leak in the exact same spot. I'm just going to have to replace it this summer. I've already tried BARS leak...hasn't cured the problem but it's better.
i also had a leak in the same spot. it started out small and just got worse. eventually it was shooting coolant about 8ft into the air with the hood open. if i were you i would replace the radiator. they are not that expensive if you go with a oem replacement (unless you get it from honda). and it's a do it yourself job. i had mine out, replaced, and bled in about 2 hours.
mines leaking too....i just noticed it last week. i brang it to my shop and my mechanic said i needed to replace it....same spot well underneath that bolt

Mine USE TOO leak. I got some sandpaper and some JB weld. Still holding strong after 4 months. Yes I know, it will not hold forever and I will eventually have to buy a new radiator, but for less then 10$ it’s a cheap temporary fix. I want a pretty radiator like the one in the picture above, but not right now…
Ya I used some JB weld for a while and then some epoxy stuff... it worked ok as long as I didn't push it but if I went through a nice run in the twisties it would pop open again.
So again, look under the couch cushions for $100 and get a new one already It'll only get worse.
same problem here for sure, i got mine from www.radiatorexpress.com, and so did kw93lude. they shipped very fast, and the radiator was only 140 bucks total.
I didn't think the JB weld would work because it's on the plastic part. I guess I'll just buy a new one, a radiator is a pretty important piece of the car.
This is a thought, try EPOX glue they have one thats called plastic welder. I use it for other stuff, but it could work for cars. the only thing you should check first is the temperature rating it could take.
i have almost the exact same problem... but from what i am seeing here, there are only temporary fixes. a new radiator is the best way to go. so let the radiator shoopping begin
It's usually a tiny hairline crack on the plastic top of the radiator. You might be able to see some come out if you squeeze the hose or just feel for cracks in the plastic.
